I've probably asked this before.. do you pool tips? How much tax gets taken out? I really hope you can afford to put something into savings next month.

Ah, so you're getting paid time and a half (overtime) then? Anything over 40 hours a week in the US is considered overtime, which is at least 1.5x normal pay, some unions actually pay double time... you're still at the restaurant?

yup still at the restaurant. November is gonna be intense. we have a food festival here and a lot of restaurants offer 3 course meals for 40 bucks bot including wine of course. our restaurant won for best restaurant last year :)
