I am happy to say we have several people reaching out and joining the mental health contest. I am glad this subject is as important to you all as it is to me. I am overwhelmed by the response and can't wait to see all the entries. here is the link to the contest for those who havent heard of it yet:http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1345914

I am in montreal and have reunited with my fiance and I am so happy and excited. I start my job at the new store friday. wish me luck and thanks again for the support :D

Glad to hear there's lots of good news! Do take care of yourself up there in Montreal! Study up on where things are... So, have you transferred from one store to the other (same company, different locations)? That never happens to me :( and I tried with two different companies.

yep it was a transfer and yeah I am sort of getting the hang of stuff. Just need to learn french now lol

Uh oh, you're in that part of Canada, eh? Shouldn't be to hard to learn, an older buddy of mine went over to France for 3 years, and picked it up within a year. Good luck learning to say fish instead of poison :) (Weird joke, but I know they have similar pronunciations)

lol yeah. I can say hello and how are you and goodbye...so that should get me started

I know you must get this a lot but, are you settling in okay?

sorta...I kinda hate the new store. The kinda expect you to learn french super fast and a lot of customers get pissed off when they find out Im an anglo (english speaker only) I may find something else they wont need me to speak french right away...I did finally find a class and my fiance is trying to help me as much as he can. but yeah think I may try and apply for some kitchen jobs instead...other than that Im settling into my neighborhood just fine. Its quiet, yet close enough to the downtown city area.

I hadn't considered that... forgot how proud the French speaking people of Canada are. Still, you're in the right country for looking for work - everywhere else is exceptionally depressed. I'm really glad you're with the love of your life :)

their a little too proud. now they want people to not wear their head wraps or other religious clothing or jewlery because they find it unprofessional....yeah the government here is a bit racist

Yeah, seems CA is going a little rough on foreign things these days, possibly following the french example... you shouldn't be scared of new things, or worry about the old going out of fashion. Things change, it's a universal constant.

actually the rest of canada is very culturally diverse....but for some reason quebec wants nothing to do with it...they wanted to seperate from canada after all...-_- oh well

Nice art work especially the queen elizabeth the 1st thats my favorite one.

thank you so much :)
