I am working on art...have my Babooshka art inked just need to color it. Also wal-mart was having a back to school sale. So, I spoiled myself and bought some art supplies XD I also work there so I got a discount. thats a bonus. I kinda miss drawing on actual paper so I drew mrs lovette XD. Been sick this weekend too due to some medication issues :(

I am currently inking my babooshka art and I am hoping to do some sweeny todd art :) yeah I love horror and dark stories. The movie was good but I prefer the play :) I want to thank you for the support for the mental health art contest...Im affraid I havent had more people interested but the news is getting around. It means alot to me...I lost my cousin due to mental health issues and I suffer from it myself. It can be a scary thing...

I have a sketch...I just need to ink it but I havent had the will to do it lately...guess Im kinda having a relapse into a small fit of depression which is nothing new to me. Doesnt help that my wisdom tooth is growing in and it feels like Im teething. I posted the mental health contest on the art forum. only 2 people have shown interest so if you think you know some fellow creative people who would be interested send them my way. I will post a link to the forum later. I just got back to the doctor about my knee injury from the car accident. I am going to be doing physio and it is most likely I will get arthritis in this knee when Im older....joy

so, I sent the prints out again...i put like 4 stamps on it lol so that should cover it. anyhoo, The mental health awareness contest. The rules are that its has to be art related to mental health. it could be about any mental health disorder. I just ask that it doesnt glorify things such as cutting or suicide. You can use any medium you like be it photography or digital art. Im looking for something that brings awareness to mental illness and also breaks the stigma that surrounds the topic.
Why this idea? I suffer from panic disorder and have manic personality traits. In the beginning I was ashamed of myself but then I eventually realized it was something to not be ashamed of. many people go through this and sadly suffer alone. the deadline...will be november 15th in memory of my dear cousin derek. winner will have a choice of prize: an art print or a donation to a mental health charity of his/her choice in there name. I hope you will enter this contest :)

apparently I didn't pay enough postage on the prints :( I think prices must have gone up. no worries though i got plenty more stamps but jesus...I am having no luck...also if anyone would like to buy a print from me, the price is 15. you can get any of my posted art as a print or you can request something :)
